Abstract

A complex oxide film forms under concentrated solar radiation of the (AlN–TiN)–(Ni–Cr)–(TiN–Cr3C2) ceramic composite. The film ceramics has the high adhesion to the substrate and contains oxide phases which show chemical affinity to one another and form solid solutions. This film is continuous and protects the composite against further oxidation.
