  • The development of hydrogen-metal- hydride technology for the needs of hydrogen energy;
  • Investigation of the mechanisms of interaction of metals with hydrogen, depending on the nature of the chemical bond and the structural state;
  • X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption spectroscopy;
  • Influence of the electronic structure, chemical state of the surface of hydride compounds on their thermodynamic properties.

Biography

1973-1978 - Dnipropetrovsk Red Banner of Labor and Steel Institute; degree in "metallurgy, equipment and technology for heat treatment of metals."
1978-1981- Fellowship in IPM I.M.Frantsevycha NAS of Ukraine.
1988 - Dissertation "Development of technology powder doped tungsten-rhenium, provides a homogeneous low alloyed alloys with high ductility (diploma on specialty "metallurgy and heat treatment of materials").
Leader: Academician V.V.Skorokhod.
2006 - the academic title of senior researcher.
1978 –now I.M.Frantsevycha Institute for problems of materials science of NAS of Ukraine. Department 18 (1978 – 2002); Department of structural chemistry of solids state # 58 (2002 – now).
