Abstract

The results of investigations the structure and mechanical properties of alloys on the basis of Al—Mg—Si system alloyed by Zn, Cu were submit for consideration. Idea of creating a high-strength casting alloy on the basis of the eutectic α-Al+Mg2Si composite matrix which is reinforced by dispersed Zn-, Cu-containing phases was implemented. Such phases are generated in the process of heat treatment and not interact with eutectic colonies. The casting aluminium alloy was created as competitive industrial alloys. Full text download
