Abstract

The influence of alloying with Sc, Zr and Се on the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of rods obtained by double extrusion from ingots of Al―Mg―Li―Mn alloys was studied. It was shown that additional alloying of experimental alloys with complexes Sc + Zr and Sc + Zr + Сe leads to a decrease of sizes of structural components and to the formation of strengthening particles δ ' (Аl3Li) and δ - and thin precipitates of S1-phase (Al2LiMg). Experimental alloys were heat treated with a quenching temperature of 400 оС and single-stage aging at 140 оС. In the alloy alloying with Sc, Zr and Ce, an increase in mechanical properties and corrosion resistance compared to the base alloy Al―Mg―Li―Mn and standard alloys 1420 and 1421 was obtained.
