Abstract

The idea of creating a high-strength cast aluminum alloy based on the Al―Ge—Mg ternary system has been implemented. Eutectic ( α-Al + Mg2Ge) composite was obtained, the matrix of which is strengthened by dispersed Zn, Cu-containing phases, which by level of mechanical properties is competitive with the best cast aluminum alloys ( σ 0,2 = 370―580 МПа; σ В = 470―615 МПа та δ = 15,5―0,85%).
