Physico-chemical materials science of nanocrystalline powders based on zirconia and alumina and development of high-tech new oxide materials of complex chemical composition for structural, functional and medical purpose.
Hydrothermal synthesis and investigation of the physico-chemical regularities of properties changing in the process of thermal treatment of nanocrystalline powders with complex compositions based on ZrO₂ solid solutions and Al₂O₃.
Microstructural design of composites for structural, functional, medical purpose on the basis of complexly doped ZrO₂ and Al₂O₃ according to the phase diagrams of refractory oxide systems with high fire resistance.
Creation of a new generation of oxide materials for ceramic layers of thermal barrier coatings.
