Abstract

The morphology and dispersed compositions of Ag-Ni powders received by mechanical mixing of powder initial components (AN30) or chemical mixing their salts (AN30d ) were studied. It is established that AN30 powders content heterogeneous granules by dimension from 20 mkm and the less. AN30d powders content dispersed particles by dimension from 2 mkm and the less with through and blind pores. By method of hot impact pressing this powders at the temperatures 550 890 oC the composites CM AN30 and CM AN30d were received. The mechanical properties at the tension test were investigated. It is established that CM AN30 is characterized by scatter of mechanical properties, is failure by breaking-off along boundaries of granules and of particles in them. For CM AN30d the stable changes of properties in the correspondence with temperature of HIP is observed as well as deformation strengthening before of failure independently of HIP temperature. The failure of specimens occurs predominantly by shear but tough along the boundaries of disperse particles. Full text download
