Abstract

The size and shape of copper powder particles changes after milling in mills with grinding bodies (vibratory, planetary and attritor types) and without grinding bodies (new type mill, developed in IPMS NASU) are studied. Dispergation particle model in a new type mill with different abrasive profile on working surfaces in grinding chamber is proposed. Simulation results determined the optimum characteristics of abrasive surface are presented. Experimental studies of electrolytic copper milling in advanced type mill are consistent with the simulation results. Full text download
