Abstract

The dependence of the phase constitution and properties of BNC composite (with additions of SiС and SiО2 (quartz glass)) on hot pressing temperature is investigated. The developed BNC composites have higher strength and oxidation resistance than hot-pressed BNC without additions and retain high electrical insulating properties, thermal and chemical resistance and good machinability
