Abstract

A laboratory installation for producing copper powder from rolled scale metal has been developed. Processing modes are determined for reduction heating to produce copper powder with optimal mechanical properties which are close to those of PMS-1 electrolytic copper. The installation developed at the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the process of producing copper powder from scale material can be recommended for commercial use.
