Abstract

The structure formation peculiarities of the interfaces between the Al—Co—Cu quasicrystalline filler and the copper- and aluminum-based binders of the macroheterogeneous composites were investigated. The rates of dissolution of quasicrystalline and crystalline filler phases in the molten binders during infiltration were compared. The binder composition of macroheterogeneous composites obtained by furnace infiltration was recommended.
