Abstract

Phase equilibria in the CeO2—Dy2O3 system at 1500 °C were studied in the overall concentration range. The samples of various compositions have been prepared from nitrate solutions by water evaporation followed by drying and annealing at 1100 and 1500 ºC. Using XRD analysis it has been revealed that solid solutions based on various allotropic forms of the components formed. The boundaries of mutual solubility and concentration dependences the lattice parameters for all phases have been determined.
