Abstract

Laboratory facility to verify functional hip joint endoprosthesis resource and to test material of friction pair of endoprosthesis for wear is developed. The technical characteristics of the facility are presented. The tests are carried out on the endoprosthesis with 28 mm diameter heads and a pair of metal—polyethylene and ceramics—polyethylene friction in an environment similar to the physiological conditions of the endoprosthesis working in the body.
