Abstract

We consider the development of the oxidation process a sample tungsten-cobalt of VK8 alloy in air at the solar heating of the surface. Kinetic data of stages physicochemical interaction with the composite and oxygen of ambient air at temperatures up to 1000 ºC. Consider the time of the failure mechanism of compact sample in the initial and subsequent stages of the conversion at relatively low temperature ranges of 30—1000 ºC.
