Abstract

The processes of interaction in the system (SiC—C)—Cr2O3 at high temperature has been studyed. The optimum composition of the mixture and heating modes of obtaining powder composition has been established. Studied its phase composition and characteristics of structure formation. Has been established the influence of the material obtained by fusing on the hardening of iron powder and on the sintered alumina ceramic.
