Abstract

The total stress intensity factors the phase angles for the internal axisymmetric conical cracks in the fiber under tension were obtained and investigated. The effects of the crack radius, of the angle of the generating line of conical surface of cracks, of the Poisson ratio of the fiber material were analyzed. Calculations of the stress-strain state of the fiber were performed by finite element method.
