Abstract

Mo—Ni—B alloys contained 41% (at.) В were studied by XRD, SEM/EPMA and pyrometry (after Pirani and Alterthum) techniques. The Mo—Ni—В solidus surface projection was constructed in the area 30—50% (at.) В for the first time. The Мо3Ni10В11  ternary compound of orthorhombic structure was found to exists on the solidus surface, solidifying from the melt.
