Abstract

We consider uniaxial [111] deformation of nanocrystals with a diamond-like structure. A mathematical model for calculating the energy of interplanar interactions in the presence of the free surface of the material. It is shown that nanoceramics has a higher strength than the nanoparticles included in its composition.
