Abstract

In the work model of iron oxidation at high temperature conditions was studied, the mathematical model takes into account a solid phase reaction of magnetite formation from ferrous oxide and ferric oxide. Computer simulation discovered the presence of minor thermokinetic oscillations. The influence of velocity on the kinetics of the reactions was studied, whereby it is determined that the greatest impact on the speed of the process has a fourth reaction.
