Abstract

Article is devoted to the development and analysis of analytic form for yield surface of a cohesionless plastic powder before sintering. It is shown that, unlike the case of sintered powder, isotropic yield surface depends on all three invariants of stress tensor. Based on the obtained yield surface finite element modeling of local powder dilation during pressing by multy-punch press has been carried out.
