Abstract

Alloys of the ternary Cu–Ti–Zr system with 50–100 at.% Cu, annealed at 750 °C, were studied by scanning electron microscopy, electron microprobe analysis, and X-ray diffraction. The isothermal section at 750 °C was constructed in this composition range. A new hexagonal ternary phase of composition Cu63.5Ti14.5Zr22 was found.
