Abstract

The influence of the chemical composition of the alloys of the Nb—Cr—Ti—Al—Zr— Mo—Si system on their phase composition was studied by metallography, X-ray phase analysis, differential thermal analysis, and the study of the influence of the cooling rate on the crystallization features. The possibility of formation of single-phase multicomponent alloys and alloys of a eutectic composition with a sharp decrease in the melting temperature is shown. It is established that the feature of eutectic multicomponent alloys is the propensity to nonequilibrium crystallization with the formation of dendrites enriched in refractory components.
