Abstract

New extremum principle taking into account elastic contribution into internal stresses during solid state sintering has been put forward. Minimization parameters of this extremum principle are two sets of velocities: total velocities of material during sintering and velocities of irreversible deformation. Sintering of porous fuel cell during exploitation of high-temperature nuclear reactor is considered as an approbation example for the new numerical approach.
