Abstract

The work is devoted to analysis of plastic porous body behavior during elasto-plastic transition for different loading conditions and porosity. The investigations were conducted using computational micromechanics with the help of direct simulation method on a square unit cell containing a circular void. This method allows us to represent directly the onset of the macroscopic plasticity. For the material macroscopic yield condition we have chosen the moment of the infinite plastic cluster formation within the cell. Using the obtained results the methodology of yield curve construction for plastic porous bodies is proposed.
