Abstract

Phase equilibria in the ternary La2O3―Y2O3―Nd2O3 system in the region of melting temperatures were studied by theoretical and experimental methods in the overall concentration range. It is established that in the crystallization region of the ternary system La2O3—Y2O3—Nd2O3 there exists one three-phase monovariant equilibrium with the participation of a liquid. The minimum temperature on the surface of the liqidus and solidus in the system is 2200 °C
