Abstract

The model describing durability of the structurally-non-homogeneous materials at the creep in the interval of temperatures above of a ductile-brittle transition temperature is proposed. The long-term strength of a material is controlled by processes of microplastic deformation. Verification of the model efficiency by using an eutectic alloy (% (Mass)) 86,7Mg-12Al-1,3Ca in the interval of temperatures and stresses - 0,49-0,61Tm and (0,94-5,6)•10-3τ/G has shown good correlation between experimental and calculated durability. It is established, that in the investigated region the controlling mechanism is viscous dislocations atmospheres movement, which accommodated by volume diffusion of aluminum in magnesium.
