Technogenic crisis and some ways of its overcoming. Reliability improvement of contact connections

Abstract

Lack of qualification, the weariness of equipment for decades of operation, which results in its physical deterioration (deterioration of equipment in the former Soviet Union at the average amounts to 60-70 %), directly lead to technical degradation and growth of accidence in the energy industry. Solution of the problem of fire safety improvement, reliability and profitability of electrical installations is in many ways related to improvement of electrical contact connections. Systematic monitoring of contact connections heating temperature (by thermal vision methods or various heat indicators) in combination with appliance of the electroconductive greasing EPS-98 provides guideline life of contacts and accordingly electrical equipment.
