Abstract

The method of tests on a friction and wear of superhard materials on the basis of dense modifications of boron nitride (STM) in the pair of STM - STM and STM hard alloys, containing the carbide of tungsten is developed. High-modulus materials test in an air environment without the serve of greasing in the area of friction. The constructions of tribological unit for a test on scheme: a finger sample - a roller, inset - a roller and butt - end friction of circular samples are offered. The samples of STM fix in holder by adhesiveactiv solders in a vacuum. A method is tested in practice.
