Abstract

Method of electrodeposition of compact, adherent, and corrosion-resistant tungsten coatings of adjustable thickness onto the molybdenum, nickel, and steel surfaces intended for operation in aggressive media was elaborated. Influence of cathode current density, temperature, and duration of electrolysis on compactness, adhesion, and structure of tungsten coating was studied. Optimal electrolysis parameters were defined. Their allow to obtain tungsten coatings up to 60 mm in thickness.
