Abstract

With the use of the installation of concentrated radiant heating the wettability of eight ultra-high-temperature ceramic materials by molten combustion products (slag) of two types of coal - long-flame Donets anthracite and low-reactive type АШ, obtained on the Dnieper power station, was studied. Basis of ceramic materials are ZrB2, BN, B4C, MoSi2 and others. The most resistant materials for both types of slag and for each individual were determined.
