Abstract

To describe the process of directed solidification, a model of formation of fibrous composites in a form of Stephan"s problem with appropriate initial and boundary conditions has been suggested. To resolve the problem a method of potentials is applied. The algorithm of numerical solution of the obtained equations with elevation of a degree of accuracy for each calculated function is built. The results of calculations for definite systems will be presented in the next paper.
