Abstract

Methods for description of evolution of voids and crack like defects during the straining are suggested. By the use of stability criteria the problem of shear bands in damaged materials is studied. The range of straining/loading paths, compatible with shear bands is established. The ductility criteria is formulated in qualitative form. It is sensitive to initial porosity, adhesion and dilatancy. Using this criteria the phenomena of overconsolidated cracks in powder technologies.
