Abstract

The dependence of phase constitution and properties of AIN-BN composite materials with addition of Y2O3 or SiC on hot-pressing temperature is studied. The developed compo sites have higher density and mechanical strength than those of hot-pressed AIN—BN material without additions, electrical insulating properties, thermal and chemical stability, and good machinability remaining unchanged.
