Abstract

The heat capacity and enthalpy of lutetium monosiliside is measured for the first time in the temperature ranges 68.56–298.21 and 465–2191 K, respectively. The standard values and temperature dependences of the heat capacity, entropy, Gibbs energy, and enthalpy of the siliside are calculated in a wide temperature range. The temperature, enthalpy, and entropy of melting are determined.
