Abstract

The state of powder metallurgy in Europe, North America, and Asia in the post-crisis period is considered. It is noted that the world production of powders and powder articles in 2011 has not reached the level before the crisis. For the successful development of this industry, the opportunity to produce powder metallurgy articles that are impossible to obtain with other technologies should be used. In addition, especially with the continued energy price growth, it is necessary to reduce energy consumption at all stages of powder metallurgy technology.
