Abstract

Results of research of structure and properties of nanoparticles, which received by electrospark treatment of iron are shown. g-Fe nanoparticles are stored at room temperature. A model of the structure of nanoparticles depending on their relative sizes and the regions of coherent scattering is shown. The structure of grain boundaries and subgrains and regularity of change of lattice parameters of nanoparticles containing iron, depending on the conditions of their manufacture was defined. The density of dislocations in nanoparticles was obtained and showed that its level is much higher than in the known metallic materials. The regularities of phase transformations in nanoparticles containing iron was shown and differ from bulk materials is shown. Examples of the modifying effect of nanoparticles are shown.
