Abstract

The method of direct visual observation of processes on metal melt-transparent material contact interface with photographing was elaborated in work. The observation was performed from transparent material side, (Ag-Cu-Ti)-sapphire and (Ag-Cu-Ti)-calcium fluoride systems were studied. It was determined, that formation of reaction layers on the silver-copper-titanium alloy and sapphire boundary occurs at temperatures of liquid melt existence and starts immediately at contact of melt and oxide.
