Interaction of Niobium and Iron with Stibium

Abstract

The interaction between the components in the Nb–Fe–Sb ternary system in the range up to 0.70 mol. parts of Sb has been investigated using X-ray structure analysis and the isothermal section of phase diagram of the system at 870 K has been built. The ternary compound NbFeSb with the typical for LiAlSi structure is confirmed in the system. Other ternary compounds in the system are not found.
