Abstract

In this paper modeling of residual stresses in plane and cylindrical metal-intermetallic-metal layered structure, which arise due to difference of coefficients of thermal expansion, is considered. Algorythms is proposed for thermal stresses evaluation in plane layered platens, which are supposed to be arbitrarily bent or restricted to be bent, and also in layered cylindrical envelope with different ratio of envelope thickness to its inner radius in case of only elastic layers deformation. Thermal stresses, which arise during cooling from temperature of obtaining to room temperature in three-layered Cr - Cr2nb - Nb structures of various forms, are calculated.Form facotrs influence on various components of residual stress is analysed.
