Abstract

Technique, which allows to determine the reasons for the difference of impregnation by alloys, which contain a adhesive-active component, of the classical impregnation was developed and applied. Impregnation depth dependence on presence of the adhesive component in the infiltrant alloy, relative activity, size and surface quality of the impregnated particles was considered. Research on impregnation of a diamond containing compositions by adhesive-active alloys and analysis of the results allowed us to develop a new manufacturing technology of diamond composites for instrumental purpose.
