The study of phase equilibria in the system ZrO2—NiO with low NiO content for creation ceramic fuel cells

Abstract

Due to conflicting literature data on the interaction in the system ZrO2—NiO phase relations in it were studied at a low content of NiO. The X-ray investigation confirmed that the cubic NiO structure does not stabilize the cubic structure of ZrO2. The solu-bility of NiO in ZrO2 is less than 1% (mol.). An eutectic interaction occur in the system studied.
