Abstract

The basic structure parameters of high-porous materials made of the 316L stainless steel fiber (diameter 6.5, 12, and 22 m) and mixture (1 : 1) of fibers (diameter 6.5 and 30 m) are established by pressing and sintering using a mercury porosimetry. The pore sizes and hydrodynamic properties of high-porous materials made of еру 1Kh18N9Т stainless steel fiber (diameter 10 m) by pressing and sintering are determined. High-porous materials made of stainless steel fibers can be used for making regenerating fine filters for purifying aggressive gases at high temperatures.
