Abstract

Thermal synthesis of powdered alloys in the temperature range of 1050—1200 °С showed a significant dependence in the formation stage on the density of the powder briquettes blend. In the synthesis of where more porous briquettes are compacting (pressure — 450 MPa), there is an intense formation of complex carbides: boro cementite Fe3(B0,7C0,3) and boron carbide of iron Fe23(C, B)6. Iron borides Fe2B, FeB are formed less intense. In the synof dense pellets (compaction pressure — 700 MPA), iron borides Fe2B, FeB are formed mainly, while the formation of complex carbides, boro carbides Fe3(BO,7C0,3) and boro cementite of iron are less in Fe23(C, B)6 tense. Thermal synthesis of denser briquettes is accompanied α → γ - conversion of the iron base.
