Abstract

The technology of asymmetric rolling of PM materials has been studied by computer modeling. As it was shown, at asymmetric rolling bending of a tape is possible. The increase in initial porosity results in increase of critical reduction (it corresponds to the absence of bending) and an interval of reductions leading to the bending of a tape on the roller with smaller diameter. Decrease of initial porosity results, accordingly, in decrease of critical reduction.
