Abstract

Although the surface properties of various materials based on titanium dioxide, in particular, the interaction of TiO2 with metals, have been studied less than for other oxides, a vast amount of factual and theoretical material concerning the processes occurring in metal-TiO2 systems has been accumulated. An overview of the research data is presented.
