Abstract

A thermo-kinetic model of the process of decomposition of chromium trioxide mixed with chromium at heating is proposed. As a result of a computer experiment, various thermokinetic trajectories of the process were established. The effect of the rates of all reactions on the thermokinetics of the process has been studied. This made possible to establish the range of values of the control parameters at which the formation of Cr2O3 nanopowder mixed with chromium is possible.
