Influence of the nature of the heat transfer on the thermokinetic trajectories of the synthesis processes of intermetallides NiAl3 and Ni3Al

Abstract

Based on a synergetic model, a computer experiment was used to compare the effect of heat transfer mechanisms on the nature of temperature changes during the synthesis of NiAl3 and Ni3Al intermetallic compounds. It was found that energy transfer by radiation plays a major role in the thermal behavior of the reaction system.
