Abstract

A study of porous structure of basaltic continuous fibres is undertaken by a absorption structure static volume method. The isotherms of persorption are got and differential distributions of occlusioned volumes are expected. Research results showed that over the decline of temperature of making of fibres brought to the considerable increase of volumes of pores, that reduces strength of fibres. At heat treatment of fibres also there is a sharp height of their porosity that strongly reduces the indexes of strength of basaltic fibres.
