Inversion domains in wurtzite boron nitride

Abstract

The domain structure of wurtzite boron nitride was studied by transmission electronic microscopy method. Donaines are appeared in BN during phase transformation of graphite-like BN modification into diamond-like wBN. The stability of domains" in wBN under high temperature and possible mechanism of inversion boundaries annihilation are discussed.
