Abstract

Phase equilibriums in ZrО2-Sm2O3 double system at 15000С throughout the concentration range have been studied for the first time. The samples of different compounds were prepared from nitrate solutions through evaporation, desiccation, heat treatment at 1100 and 1500 0C. X-ray phase and microstructural analysis is used in research. Solid solutions based on various crystalline modifications of starting components and Sm2Zr2O7 ordered phase are found out to form in system.
